Pedorthist

Pedorthists are trained to manage and treat conditions of the foot, ankle, and lower extremities externally.
A Pedorthist is responsible for assessing the lower limb anatomy & biomechanics, as well as designing and fitting custom made orthotics or orthopedic footwear.
They are foot orthotic, and orthopedic footwear experts.


Pedorthic Candidate

The Pedorthic candidate may perform some duties of a Certified Pedorthist, such as shoe and orthotic fitting.


Foot Care Nursing

Provides DIABETIC assessment
Treatment of various NAIL PATHOLOGIES, ie: ingrown toe nails, fungal nails, thickened and involuted nails
Treatment of BONE PATHOLOGIES, ie: bunion, hammer/claw toes
Treatment of SKIN PATHOLOGIES, ie: callus, corns, dry skin
